Walk mindfully
Each step we take is a new beginning.
Mindfulness meditation is a way of being, so every action we make, including walking, can be done with mindful attention, leading to greater peace.
One way to practice walking mindfully is to silently repeat an affirmation to yourself as you walk. For example, you can think of a word with each step. For example, 7 steps could be: “I am here now. I am thankful.”
As you breathe deeply and walk mindfully with your chosen affirmation, notice what is happening around you and within. With gratitude for presence and the opportunity to move freely, our experience of walking is transformed with mindfulness.
